Spoiled rotten chickens

I don't think I spoil my chickens. I don't bake them special treats,  and I don't let them come into the house.

But I was feeling a little bit bad for the pullets, since they have a much smaller pasture until they're big enough to move into the laying flock. And there's only so many oversized zucchini and bug-eaten tomatoes they can peck at before they get bored, right?

So, I roto-tilled the pasture for them. I ran the tiller in a nice strip down the side of the pasture so they can scratch and hunt for bugs. They liked it a lot.

But I did get teased for it, a little. What do you think, are these spoiled chickens?
