The World's Cutest Lawnmower

On Monday, I brought home the world's cutest lawnmower. Her name is Flopsy.

Flopsy had quite an exiting introduction to our family. I bought her at the Mount Hope Auction over a month ago, and brought her back to my Dad's farm for an hour or so before we started home. We put her in an eight foot high dog kennel. When we looked out the window, she was gone.

She must have had a lovely time roaming Dad's farm. The corn was ripe, and the entire top of the hill is planted in alfalfa. There's a lovely stream at the bottom of the hill.

From time to time, there would be goat sightings. The vet doubted his sanity when he saw a little goat pop out onto the lane and vanish over the other side in the blink of an eye.

It became time to harvest the corn. Her sanctuary got smaller, and smaller, and smaller. We were all worried about that giant custom harvester and the little goat. Luckily the harvester scared her, too, and she decided to hide underneath the grain trucks. That's where she was caught. Dad put her in a kennel inside his locked office to make doubly sure she wouldn't get away again before I drove up and got her.

Now she's home. I bought her to be a lawnmower and to eat the weeds in the chicken pasture, but it looks like she's firmly in the pet camp. She is perhaps the cutest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. I've already looked into getting a second goat, but I've been told "no." Don't worry, I'll wear him down eventually! ;)
