One. Hundred. Thousand. Dollars.

My husband sent me a link today that I just had to share. Go check it out. Look at all the photos. Watch the video. I'll wait.

I just can't even...

I mean, what...

Who...

Whew! Ok, there are so many things wrong with this. Have they never heard of poop? Or chicken dander, or bugs, or predators? Why, oh why are they showing baby chicks and eggs in a little wire-fronted cupboard that will kill both baby chicks and incubating eggs? What can you possibly grow in raised beds this tiny? Who cleans this? Do you have to hire additional staff? ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS?!?!?? Ok, maybe I'm still hyperventilating.

On a chicken level, however, there are so many wonderful things to poop on! What a great chicken house!

On a completely serious note, if you are thinking about getting a few hens of your own and need some advice, just ask. And if you want someone to build you a hen house, or buy and brood some chicks for you, or do some chicken or gardening consultation, we can come to an agreement. I promise you I won't charge you $100,000.
