On Sunday, I promised you photos of the actual Easter Egg Chickens in our flock instead of Google photos. Took a little longer than I expected with all the rain, but here you go! See if you can spot the EEs in the last photo (and the rooster). Notice how each hen has a unique color pattern. I love that! EEs may not be purebred chickens, but the are so much fun.
Speaking of Easter Eggers, here's a baby EE cockerel that I'm deciding whether or not to keep. I don't have any really good, sound scientific reasons to keep him--but isn't he just awesome looking? Check out that gorgeous blue and red feathering and that nifty blue beard! :)
