Brrrrrr

We're snowed in, and the snow is still coming. The wind was so strong last night that it blew 6" of snow into the barn--under the closed barn door. The wind has moved the snow into piles, so in some areas the snow is only and inch or tow deep but in others the snow is a couple of feet deep. I go outside three times a day to take unfrozen water the to animals and gather eggs, and that's about it.

View from my back door this morning.

Luckily, I still have some green and growing things to keep me going. The peppers are doing great, and I had two more yellow Bhut Jolokia seeds sprout yesterday. Go, chiles, go!

Until next week, stay warm! I'm going to hunker down on the couch under a pile of blankets with a good book.
